  • Google Workspace (Gmail) for communication and collaboration

These services maintain their own independently certified compliance with international information security frameworks, including:

  • TLS/SSL encryption

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

  • Role-based access control

  • Data loss prevention

  • Secure cloud hosting with redundancy and disaster recovery protocols

We undertake reasonable steps to verify and configure these systems in a manner that promotes the safe collection, storage, access, and disposal of personal and organisational information, particularly where it involves culturally sensitive or identity-based data related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, or citizens of Papua New Guinea.

Scope of Protection and Limitations

While CNIC Group exercises due diligence in configuring secure systems and restricting unauthorised access, we cannot and do not warrant or guarantee absolute security of any data transmitted to or from our digital platforms. Users are responsible for ensuring secure access to their own devices, accounts, and login credentials.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CNIC Group disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, or unauthorised access arising from cyber attacks, system failures, user negligence, third-party data breaches, or malicious acts beyond our control.

This includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from:

  • Interception of data during transmission

  • Phishing or malware resulting in data disclosure

  • System downtime or unauthorised third-party access

  • Client or candidate mismanagement of login credentials

Consent and Acceptance

By engaging with any of CNIC Group’s platforms, programs, or services—including but not limited to recruitment services, mentoring programs, online job boards, educational tools, e-commerce systems, and any digital communication—you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with digital systems and agree to release CNIC Group from any liability relating to unauthorised data access or digital security incidents not caused by proven negligence on our part.

You also consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian laws.

Amendments
