As part of the Cultural Nexus Indigenous Corporation (CNIC) group, Indigenous Job Match (IJM) offers Culturally Safe Panel Interviews to help employers create inclusive, fair, and respectful recruitment experiences for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates.

For many First Nations people, traditional interview settings can feel rigid, intimidating, or culturally unsafe — often leading to missed opportunities and underrepresentation in workplaces. IJM’s approach changes that by ensuring interviews are conducted through a culturally informed, strengths-based lens that values lived experience, community engagement, and cultural identity alongside technical capability.

What We Offer

Through our Teams-based Panel Interview Service ($149 per interview), IJM can:

  • Facilitate or join your interview panel as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander representative.

  • Support question design that reflects cultural strengths and real-world experience.

  • Deliver pre-panel briefings to raise awareness of unconscious bias and culturally appropriate communication.

  • Provide post-interview reflection summaries and structured feedback templates to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
